When does your Internet business need the next step?

14 April 2008 No Comment

Online business requires technology. Often there is a learning time for people who are just starting out.

There are autoresponders to use, websites to design, squeeze pages to make, and even blogs to set up and learn how to use.  It takes some people a long time to get past these technical bumps in the road on their way towards achieving a successful internet business.

So what happens after the site building and autoresponder skills are sharpened to a competent degree?

Well, then these site owners need to learn how to get traffic to their sites, but how they get traffic to their sites is largely dependent upon what their business model is.

Article marketing is one example of a manual traffic method. Manual because you need to write the articles and then syndicated.  There are services such as Unique Article Wizard that do this for people but that service may not be what your business needs right now.

If you haven’t figured out what traffic generation method is most closley aligned with your current needs then that’s really the first thing to consider prior to getting involved with any link building services that promise you tons of traffic.

How you get your traffic will surely depend on your business plan but it also reflects your personal needs.  If you don’t have a lot of time on your hands then you need to consider which of these link building services and traffic generation methods will fit in best with your schedule and available time.

Before you start using services like this you must consider what your plan is and what benefits your business model the most. When people operate Adsense sites they derive the most benefit from manual traffic that goes to different posts and pages. That is becuse of the w ay Adsense blocks work. They have a higher ClickThru Rate on individual posts instead of the main page.

Daniel McGonagle has a free report that explains how NOT having a plan or a business model is one of the most common internet marketing mistakes almost everyone makes.
